This book will definitely go over big with anyone in a teaching environment.
And the quality of the reproduction of the painting images was first class. Other books I have been in have been so-so. Yours, by far, was the best. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "I saw your book and sat down on the floor and read through a great deal of it right there. It is excellent and covers the important points of composition in a clear manner that is easy for all to understand. BRAVO! I run a website for drawing and pastel artists called www.scribbletalk.com, and the first thing I did after I came home was go to my computer to recommend everyone pick up a copy." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Margot has also done several workshops in colonial Mexico, most recently at Hacienda Las Trancas near Dolores Hidalgo. We don't anticipate one there in the immediate future due to the falling dollar, but hopefully, that will open up again before long.
She also gives five-day workshops in the Sierras at various locations including the pristine Hope Valley, CA. For details, check the workshop listings in this website.
The response to the workshops continues to be enthusiastic; see comments of students on the workshops page. Attendance is growing significantly, and many students are coming back for second and third rounds. If you have not yet joined a Margot Schulzke Workshop, there are several opportunities in varied locations.

Margot Schulzke is equally comfortable with realism and abstraction. Subject to the requirements of the particular show's sponsors, she likes to include a wide range of subject matter and stylistic approaches. She views each work with an eye to what the artist was attempting to express and looks for artists whose work is both of high quality and authentic to their own styles. With her deep background in design and years of experience in varied media, she is both a sure-footed and impartial juror.
