Recent & Ongoing Exhibitions

The artist has exhibited in national competitions and museums coast to coast. Among the competitive venues are the Salmagundi Club and the National Arts Club, both in New York City.

Museum exhibitions include the Stockton Arts League 55th Annual Exhibition, at the Haggin Museum, 2008; the Vacaville Museum, 2008; Pastels USA 2006 at the Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA; Pastels USA 2004, 18th and 23rd Annual International Exhibitions, Triton Museum, Santa Clara, CA, February 26-May 23, 2004 and 2009; Lauren Rogers Museum, Laurel, Miss., November 2004 to Jan. 23rd, 2005, in conjunction with the Degas Pastel Society 10th Biennial National Exhibition. In addition to being represented in the 2007 Pastels USA International Exhibition at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center as a member of PSWC's Hall of Fame, Margot's work was included in May-June 2007 in Kaleidoscope, an invitational exhibit at PlacerARTS in Auburn, CA, which included some twenty of Northern California's top pastel artists. Earlier museum exhibitions included the Springville Museum, Springville, Utah; Monmouth Museum, Monmouth, New Jersey and the Quincy Museum, Quincy, Illinois.

In addition to being represented in the 2007 Pastels USA International Exhibition at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center as a member of PSWC's Hall of Fame, Margot's work was included in May-June 2007 in Kaleidoscope, an invitational exhibit at PlacerARTS in Auburn, CA, which included some twenty of Northern California's top pastel artists.

Judging Exhibitions

Margot Schulzke was juror for the Emerald Art Center National Open Exhibition, Eugene, OR, April 2009. She served as juror of awards for Pastels USA 2008 at the Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA and the 2008 Northwest Pastel Society National Open Exhibition, Tacoma, Washington. Other exhibits include Pastels USA 2003, for which she was a juror of selection, juror of selection for the 3rd Annual Northeast Natl. Pastel Exhibition, 2007, Old Forge, NY; juror, the Sierra Pastel Society Pastels on High International Exhibition, 2002, and The 2004 Pastel Journal 100, with Alan Flattmann and Maggie Price. Selections from the latter (100 works of 3000 submitted) were published in the Pastel Journal April 2004.
